Canmore Sleigh Rides, Rich in Culture and History.
Dashing through the snow, on a two horse open Sleigh, through the forests we go, smiling all the way!
Surrounded by unmatched scenery and engulfed in Canadian Rockies culture and history, Canmore Sleigh and Wagon Rides are the perfect way to experience the mountains. We wind through forests of spruce and lodge pole pines, over meadows and as we glide over the snow, guests (snuggled under warm blankets), can relax and take in the beauty of the Bow Valley as they learn from our guides the history of this working ranch and surrounding areas.
Take in views of The Iconic Three Sisters Mountain
Learn about the history of the Bow Valley
Private Ranch and small group sizes
Children three and under ride free
All of our horse drawn vehicles are pulled by an amazing team of Norwegian Fjords
Our trip begins at Canmore Ranch, a working ranch in operation since the early 1900's. There you will check in and meet up with the staff. From there the guides will introduce you to your team.
After introductions it's time to climb aboard, wrap up in a blanket and ready yourself for your excursion. As you wander through the forest, keep an eye out for song birds, deer and elk that frequent this area.
Once back at the stables, we disembark from the sleigh and gather around a warm campfire for some hot drinks and say our final goodbyes to our team and guides.
